X CODAIP – Conference of Copyright and Public Interest

X CODAIP is organized by the Law School of Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and its Post Graduation Program (PPGD/UFPR) intermediated by the Group of Studies of Authorial and Industrial Rights (GEDAI/UFPR). The main objective is the study of major aspects related to Copyright development inside the Information Society.

X CODAIP is organized by the Law School of Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and its Post Graduation Program (PPGD/UFPR) intermediated by the Group of Studies of Authorial and Industrial Rights (GEDAI/UFPR). The main objective is the study of major aspects related to Copyright development inside the Information Society.

The event, on its 10^th edition, represents an important step forward the resumption of States responsibility in conceiving public policies in a contemporaneous and strategic field inside the context of a digital environment and technological convergence.

The Conference meets other initiatives seeking to stimulate a critical and deep approach of Intellectual Property Law focusing on public and economic interests that relate to the issues of Copyright and Public Interest.

The event is supported by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES/MEC).

The event will count with the presence of José de Oliveira Ascensão for its opening.

The chosen methodology encourages the presentation of individual lectures with specific topics in thematic panels composed by one exhibitor, one debater and one moderator, which will be followed by a general debate, including questions and comments made by the attenders.

All sectors that develop and study issues related to Intellectual Property Law in UFPR will be in the event’s schedule:
